Quick-mounting insulating composite sleeve Smart Wrap

The sleeve is designed to isolate annular weld steel pipes with a diameter of 4 to 52 inches in all operating conditions, including subsea at depths up to 1000 m.
Sleeve design provides a reliable, sealed and tight seam insulation and heat affected zone of welded joints for the entire life of the pipeline.

Installation of the sleeve is easy, requires no special tools and can be performed by one person. Tightening of sleeve joints does not require to fit the locks, which is important in the conditions of the sleeve installation under water, in conditions of reduced visibility and the inability to fine manipulation.

Structurally, the sleeve consists of an external power jacket, equipped with swiveling of locking assemblies and insulating liner made of fiberglass.

External power shell provides the tightness and fixing the liner in weld zone and heat-affected zone protection against mechanical impacts.

The insulating liner seals the heat affected zone. During installation on its inner surface, adjacent to the pipe, applied special waterproof epoxy glue, which fills surface irregularities upon tightening of locking assemblies and prevents corrosion of the metal pipe without allowing contact with the environment.

External power shell is made of chemically resistant composite material, all metal parts of the coupling are made of AISI316L stainless steel.
