Smart Lock (UKMT ) 32 " strength test

The test commission includes representatives of the Ministry of Oil of the Republic of Sudan, PETRODAR Operating Company (Sudan), PETROSHAN Oil Service & Investment Co. Ltd. (Sudan), GIS German Industrial Services Ltd. (Germany), LLC "SEC" NefteGazDiagnostika "(Russia)," PSO "NefteGazDiagnostika" (Russia), as well as VNIPI "VZRYVGEOFIZIKA" (Russia).

For test performance, a pipe stand of 32 inches, 3000 mm length and 16 mm wall thickness was set. Spherical end caps are welded on pipe ends, at the 150 mm distance from pressure indicator circular welds and nozzles for water supply were set. An artificial flaw of 60х15 mm size and 12.8 mm depth was applied on the pipe wall making 80% of the pipe wall metal thickness loss.

As a result of the test, it was recognized that the reinforcing composite sleeve Smart Lock (UKMT) 32 "successfully passed the test. Foreign colleagues from the Commission highly appreciated strength and performance of the sleeve, and expressed great interest to use this technology.
